What do you need to do? Have an option for the EyeDropper to pick up the alpha value of the selected pixel (including holding alt and pencil) How would you like to do it? Have a tick box in the "Tools Configuration" panel for the eye dropper to "Grab Alpha", so that when picking a transparent pixel you can paint that exact transparent colour back down.
Yeah, I saw it, it's a great feature. There are plans to improve all the color handling (see issue #286 ), and your issue #323 is one interesting solution to this problem (I think the best solution I can though at this moment).
